Nails Creek Baptist Church

Located on Georgia Hwy. 51 North at the intersection with Georgia Hwy 63 (Martin Bridge Rd.). Established February 11, 1787 as the the very first Baptist church in Banks County. Reverend Moses Sanders was the missionary who founded the church and started it as a mission for Indians in the area.
In 1996, the Nails Creek Community, which includes the church and cemetery, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places (#96001307).
