2013 "Finding Your Roots" Genealogy Day
The "Finding Your Roots" Genealogy Day at the Library was held on Saturday, April 20th at the Banks County Public Library. Mildred Elizabeth Poole Grafton was the guest speaker and gave a well-received program on beginning genealogical research.
Several attendees made surprising progress and a number of discoveries during the time allotted. We will be discussing whether to host another Fall 2013 Genealogy Day event at upcoming planning meetings.
Thanks Mildred for the giving of your time and sharing your knowledge. Special thanks also to Stacy Krumnow, Manager of the Banks County Public Library and to the library staff as well.
